Jeff the Land Shark Mystery Box at Disney Store: What to Know

What is the Jeff the Land Shark Mystery Box at Disney Store?

The product Disney Store lists is the Jeff the Land Shark Plush Keychain Mystery Figure by Cosbi, part of the Marvel Rivals line. It costs $21.99 per blind box and holds one of seven possible figures: six regular designs at 1-in-6 odds each and one rare chase at 1-in-48. It is listed on Disney Store's website.

Note the name. A separate Disney Store product officially titled "Jeff the Land Shark Mystery Box" was not found in the available listings. The verified name is the longer Cosbi one, and that matters when you search, because third-party sellers sometimes use looser titles. The official Disney Store product page is the reference point for price, odds and contents.

Each purchase includes a sealed blind box, a sealed inner foil pouch, a collection card, and a plush figure with a Marvel loop and carabiner-style O-ring for keys or bags. The box measures about 6 inches high by 4.5 inches wide by 4 inches deep, and the plush is about 5.5 inches high.

What designs are in the Jeff the Land Shark Cosbi set?

The set has six named regular designs: Doctor Jeff, Captain Jeff, Spider-Jeff, Dat Pool Party, Cone On, and The "Shark" Shark. Each is a plush keychain figure in the Cosbi format. The seventh figure is a rare chase whose design Disney Store did not disclose in the listing.

The undisclosed chase is the collector hook. Buyers know a chase exists and know its odds, but not what it looks like until someone opens one. That is standard for blind-box lines, and it is why early pull photos tend to spread fast. Treat any social-media claim about a specific chase design as unconfirmed unless Disney Store or another official seller publishes it.

The collection is explicitly inspired by Marvel's Marvel Rivals video game rather than the comics. Disney Store also listed a Jeff the Land Shark Marvel Rivals pullover sweatshirt at $39.99.

What are the odds of pulling the rare chase?

Disney Store lists each regular design at 1-in-6 odds and the rare chase at 1-in-48. On average that means 48 boxes to pull the chase, though randomness means it could take more or fewer. Odds describe a long-run rate, not a guarantee tied to how many boxes you personally buy.

Here is how the published odds compare across the set.

One thing the listing does not confirm is case contents. Disney Store gives individual-box odds, not a promise that a sealed case contains all seven designs. If a seller claims a full case guarantees the chase, ask for that in writing from an official source. For a broader primer, see our guide to how mystery box odds work.

How much does the Jeff the Land Shark blind box cost?

One blind box costs $21.99 at Disney Store. That price covers a single figure, not the set. Buying all six regular designs at random would take many boxes on average, and the chase sits outside that math entirely at 1-in-48.

Because each box is $21.99, the cost of chasing the rare figure adds up quickly. At 1-in-48 odds, the chase is a long-run average rather than a milestone you reach by buying a set number of boxes, and each box carries the same 1-in-48 chance regardless of what came before. Set a budget before you start and treat every box as a standalone purchase.

Resale prices and aftermarket rarity claims were not independently verified. If you see a chase listed at a premium elsewhere, compare it against the official listing first. Our breakdown of mystery box red flags covers the patterns worth watching.

Is the Jeff the Land Shark mystery figure available online?

Yes. The mystery box is listed on Disney Store's website, so you can view the price, odds and contents there directly. The box launched online at Disney Store in late July 2025, alongside the Marvel Rivals wave, and Disney-focused outlets highlighted it among new releases at the time.

Stock can move, so check the product page for the current status before you plan a purchase. A Disney Parks-exclusive version, a special October 2026 drop, or a guaranteed full-set box was not confirmed.

For release tracking, outlets such as WDW News Today cover Disney merchandise drops, and the Disney Store Marvel franchise pages are where new listings appear first.

How does the Cosbi format affect collectibility?

Cosbi is a designer toy and plush format sold through Disney Store, and collectors treat its chase variants as the scarce pieces. The Jeff set follows that pattern: six regular figures at 1-in-6 and one chase at 1-in-48. Scarcity, not the plush itself, drives most of the secondary interest.

Blind-box collecting has grown well beyond Disney. Pop Mart's LABUBU line turned designer toys into a mainstream hobby, and stores like the Pop Mart at Arundel Mills now anchor mall traffic. Disney's own blind-box output runs from plush keychains to themed sets such as the Disney Trash Can Mystery Box Series 2.

Regulation is catching up too. Singapore has moved on blind-box rules, covered in our look at Singapore blind box regulations, and published odds are becoming the baseline expectation rather than a nice extra.

How should you approach mystery boxes responsibly?

Set a budget before you buy, read the published odds, and never assume you will get the chase. A 1-in-48 figure is a long shot by design. If a product does not publish odds, that is a reason to pause rather than a reason to gamble.

The Jeff box does publish its odds, which is a point in its favor. The bigger risk sits with resellers and unofficial listings that borrow the product name without the official terms. Buy from Disney Store where possible, and check the product page for the current price and stock status before ordering.
